Event designs
Another year, another Opticon! This was Optimizely’s conference for 2023, where we fully embraced our theme of “the intersection of art and science”. Our lead designer concepted the aesthetic, and the rest of the team got to run wild, constructing all our own pattern blocks and gradients to help embody the look.
I had the privilege of also leading direction for our Activation Experiences. Ideas included: artsy cocktails (requiring some science), walkable charcuterie cups, 360º video op, photo graffiti wall, and professional headshots.
Optimizely puts on our own conference—Opticon. In 2022, our theme was to “unlimit yourself”; so we had branding throughout have visual or word play on that.
My contributions including floor toblerone design, full illustration of neon selfie walls, registration design with background window clings, as well as t-shirt designs for our live screen printing activation.

Art directed & designed.
OMR 2024 dove into our new product with OptimizelyOne. I used bubbles throughout to help reflect what would be presented on the screens. Brought in key features and an awesome analyst report to catch attention.
D-Congress trade show 2024. This was our first booth design showing off our new product sweet—OptimizelyOne. So I brought in the same bubbles to help tie everything together. This event took place in Sweden and people there gravitate towards trusted, long-standing brands; so I brought in some of our top Swedish logos to build that presence. I also worked with our video team for the large, animating arches. These helped show event happenings, as well as played a video about our new product suite!
